A cast removed from a person’s body exists as plaster and bandag, yet still retains the rough contours of another body. On its surface remain traces of pus, grime, fine hairs, and dried blood marks that intensify the suspension of their ambuquous state as an object and something not entirely an object.

 

 

사람의 몸에서 떼어낸 깁스는, 석고와 붕대라는 사물 적 형식을 갖고 있으면서도 타인의 몸의 형태를 대략적으로 품고있다. 그 표면에는 고름과 때, 잔털과 피 같은 흔적들이 남아 있는데, 이는 깁스가 ‘사물과 비 사물 사이’에서 미묘하게 진동하는 순간을  더욱 자극한다.
